BELLEAIR BEACH - The city council of the city of Belleair Beach has invited residents for a "Fond Farewell" reception for the soon to be razed building that has served residents for nearly 50 years. The party will be held on Wednesday, February 6, from 2 to4 p.m. Cake and punch will be served, along with a presentation highlighting the new proposed City Hall. The party is open to Belleair Beach residents only. Reservations are necessary. RSVP to Pam Nightingale by phoning 595-4646 extension #120. City Hall will be closed the week of February 18 to 22, however; all telephones calls will be answered. City manager, Nancy McCollum reports that staff will be moving files, furniture and other city hall equipment and will open again for business on Monday, February 25 at the city's temporary location across the street at 1001 Cedar Drive.
