Kiwanis Has Big Appetite for Helping Others
SEMINOLE - The Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast will host two special events during the Seminole Pow Wow Festival.
An Italian dinner night will be held Friday, March 14, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., featuring penne pasta with meatballs, salad, bread and a beverage.
The 27th Annual Pancake Day will be held March 15, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and features all the pancakes you can eat, served with sausage and beverage (fresh orange juice, coffee, or milk). These events are sure to satisfy your appetite and raise money for several worthwhile programs.
Both fundraisers will be held in the Seminole Recreation Center auditorium located at 9100 113th Street North, Seminole. Tickets for either the dinner or breakfast are $5 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 10-years old. Children four and under are FREE. Tickets can be purchased in advance at First Home Bank in Seminole by contacting Charlene Jasmin at (727) 394-2265.
Free children's book will be provided by Kiwanis during both events. Free parking is available at the adjacent St. Petersburg College and Seminole Library. All proceeds will help support the Kiwanis Breakfast Club's major emphasis project - "Reading is Fun-damental" and numerous service projects in the greater Seminole Community.
