"Celebration of Freedom"The City of Dunedin Community Chorus April ConcertDUNEDIN -The Dunedin Community Chorus, "the Chorus With a Heart," under the direction of Jan O'Connor/Sharkey and Don Jones, proudly presents their final concert of the season, "Celebration of Freedom" on April 6th at 3 p.m. in the Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin. As is their tradition, they will be honoring all branches of the Service in their "Salute to the Armed Forces." The sacred portion of the program contains contemporary pieces and traditional hymns with a new twist. Adding to their great choral sound, the group is featuring a trumpet trio and the talented bell choir of First Presbyterian Church of Dunedin, under the direction of Stephen Allen. The pianists will be Melanie McWilliams and Jo Ann Metropoulos. As always, this versatile chorus entertains capacity crowds. Plan to arrive early at the center and be treated to a moving and inspirational program. The concert is sponsored by the City of Dunedin Recreation Division. The concert is free. A $5 donation is suggested.
