What Does Math Have to do With "Mame"?
Photo by Fay Nicholson The Island Estates Yacht Club held a Progressive Dinner at Alfano's on February 23. Seventy-seven members and guests attended. The party was captained by Marcia Coxhead and Sue Speck. Jim and Pat Ostrosky plotted the course (math) with change of direction to another table at each entrée. Shipmates Nancy and Mike Lawrence, Gary Barnard, Jan Nagy, Mason Rascher, Donis Campbell, John Garrity, Marilyn Hall, Bess Bentler, Laurelee Bernard and Shirley Fazzina contributed to the success of the party. New members Gary and Carolyn Bookout were introduced to the captain and crew. On March 15, Theater Director Carolyn Teague led members to the Island Way Grill for dinner and then on to the theater for "Mame." Again, a nice turnout for this fun evening. A future sailing to Caladesi Island will be led by Patti and Jim Ostrosky.
