Pinellas County Jewish Day School to Host Fourth Annual "Run for the Matzahs"The Pinellas County Jewish Day School is hosting the fourth annual "Run for the Matzahs" 5 kilometer run/walk on Sunday, April 6th, at 8 a.m. at the John S. Taylor Park. The park is located at 1100 8th Avenue Southwest in Largo. Included in the day's festivities will be a 100 yard dash for small children, as well as a 1 mile family fun walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. Personal Fitness Trainer, Eric Mabee, of Bodies by Design in Palm Harbor, will lead a stretching clinic prior to the start of the race. This year's event will also include the presentation of the "Matzah Cup", a trophy awarded to a group or organization which brings the most participants. The cup will be given at the end of the race, and is a yearly tradition. The post race celebration will feature an assortment of food, refreshments, and prizes for the top finishers in the various age and gender categories. The goal of the "Run for the Matzah's" is to raise money for the Pinellas County Jewish Day School's scholarship fund.
