Dunedin Public Library circulation staffer Connie Casella, at left, joins Joanna and Devin Godfrey and their father, Richard Godfrey, for a photo at the Dinosaur Bounce House during the library's fourth annual Books-A-Party celebration on April 19. The event featured crafts, face painting by Vondie the clown, costumed characters and storytimes for the younger set as well as musical entertainment, book discussions and author signings for the adults attending. The Friends of the Library also held their spring book sale that day.
The drum circle led by Steve Turner of Giving Tree Music, standing at back, left, was a popular activity with those attending the Books-A-Party event at the Dunedin Public Library on April 19. To the delight of the crowd, storybook characters Huggy Bear and Maisy got into the act and danced to the beat of the drums.
