
May Day at the ParkDUNEDIN - Faith in Action of Upper Pinellas is hosting its 1st Annual "May Day At The Park" and Volunteer Appreciation (for Senior Citizens) at the City of Dunedin Edgewater Park and Municipal Marina on Wednesday, May 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. "Who does not remember 'platting' the Maypole as a child? I wanted to create an event that would allow the seniors to enjoy themselves with a beautiful view and reminisce, said Carmen Wilson, Executive Director of Faith in Action of Upper Pinellas. The mission of Faith in Action of Upper Pinellas is to enhance the quality of life and promote the health and well being of older adults, enabling them to remain independent in their own homes." Invited guests include Florida House of Representative Tom Anderson, Florida Senator Mike Fasano, County Commissioners and Administrators, City of Dunedin Mayor Bob Hackworth, and elected officials within our service area, Tarpon Springs to north of Ulmerton Road.
