Hold Onto Your Hats Tampa, the Delta Lady is Coming to Town

TAMPA - Kit Stewart and her Fashionista’s will be hosting an intimate performance by two-time Grammy Award winning artist Rita Coolidge on June 7, starting at 6 p.m. The evening promises a jazzy night under the stars at the luxurious, waterfront home of Blake Casper on Davis Island. Enjoy poolside chic atmosphere with a flavorful dinner from Bailey’s Catering. This is the first of two events the Fashionista’s are hosting to raise funds for “Focus on Females Women’s Healthcare Symposium”.

The June 7th Underwriter’s Party featuring one of the most versatile signers of the Rock Generation, will include a memorable evening of wining and dining. 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to the Focus on Females Education Foundation, a not-for-profit 501c3. The ultimate goal of the event is to build an endowment fund for the foundation, which will enable the Focus on Females Women’s Healthcare Symposium to perpetuate.

Make sure to mark your calendars, the Fashionista’s Fashion Show will be held Saturday, November 8th, 2008 in Old Hyde Park Village. This event will feature a performance by a national celebrity, a professionally choreographed fashion show of fashions by Kit’s Well Heeled and Well Dressed and Georgette’s, and a spread to please any palate by Timpano’s, 717 South, the Wine Exchange and Bailey’s!

The 4th Annual Focus on Females Women’s Healthcare Symposium, hosted by Dr. Steven L. Maskin, M.D., is scheduled for March 21, 2009. The annual symposium is held to promote and facilitate the education of women of all ages regarding personal health, not only for themselves, but also for their families and loved ones. Dr. Maskin and the Fashionista’s truly care about the community and are determined to make a difference by helping to provide practical, relevant and ready-to-use health information through yearly outreach programs highlighted at the symposium.
