It can be beneficial to adopt more that one cat at a time, especially if the pets will be left alone for long periods. Most cats enjoy the company of their own species. While kittens are cute and hard to resist, we find that quite often adult cats can be a better fit into the majority of households. An adult cat tends to be less mischievous, calmer, and more tolerant and relaxed then the younger cats.
