Volunteer Drivers Urgently Needed for American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery Program to Drive Cancer Patients to Treatment
Cancer patients from your community need your help to get to chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery program is in need of volunteers who are willing to drive cancer patients to and from their life-saving cancer treatments. Schedules are very flexible.
Training, maps and directions are provided to those who want to volunteer their time. Requirements include having a safe driving record, a valid driver’s license and a vehicle that is in good working condition.
For more information about being a Road to Recovery volunteer, call Cindi Crisci at the American Cancer Society (727) 812-7028.
