
Largo Man Arrested for Aggravated Battery After He Beats Roommates With a Baseball BatLARGO - Deputies have arrested a Largo man for aggravated battery after he beat his two roommates with a baseball bat. Deputies responded to the private residence located at 2204 S. Euclid Circle in Largo at about 5:42 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, after a friend of the roommates arrived at the home, discovered the crime, and called 911. Deputies say the men were having an argument over drugs and money, when the suspect, 45-year-old Paul Lillie picked up a bat and beat both 48-year-old Daniel Snelser and 46-year-old Michael Woods. Snelser sustained critical injuries to the head and face and was transported by ambulance to Tampa General with non-life threatening injuries. Woods sustained serious injuries to the head and face and was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Deputies arrested Paul Lillie for two-counts aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The investigation continues.
