Latest Update - Palm Harbor Library Renovation PALM HARBOR – Renovation plans at Palm Harbor Library are moving along right on schedule. The second of four phases of the year-long project is almost complete! The library will be closed from Monday, July 28 through Sunday, August 10 to prepare for the next phase. Once reopened, you’ll be treated to the following enhancements: New, expanded Teen Room with exciting improvements New conference room with ceiling-mounted video projector and screen Five new study rooms New sprinkler system New office for Literacy Services Upgraded Reference Department workroom New emergency exit door on the south side of the building Vastly improved lighting New carpeting Reupholstered furniture The library opened its remodeled Children’s Department in May, and has had very positive feedback regarding the brighter colors, enhanced lighting and improved sight lines. One child described it perfectly when he walked into the new room with a huge grin on his face -- “Whoa!” The library is located at 2330 Nebraska Avenue in Palm Harbor.
