1st Annual TAPS CON Held at Belleview Biltmore Resort a Haunting Succcess

Roto-Rooter plumbers and paranormal investigators, Grant Wilson (left) and Jason Hawes (right) who head up The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) and star in the Sci-fi channel's reality TV series, Ghost Hunters, met with fans throughout the weekend at a paranormal themed convention held at the Belleview Biltmore Resort

BELLEAIR - Twelve hundred ghost hunters, fans and the curious public descended on the Belleview Biltmore Resort in Belleair July 18-20 for a weekend long convention of all things paranormal.

TV's Ghost Hunter's team along with members from Ghost Hunters International, paranormal exhibits, and of course, ghost hunts were featured throughout the haunted hotel with added entertainment from rock bands, including original members of Blue Oyster Cult playing as Underbelly.

Taps CON will be held annually and will be held again at the Biltmore in May 2009, according to the resort's manager, Martin Smith.

VIP packages with hotel lodging sold out months prior to the convention and 500 tickets were sold in advance. Tickets for the 2009 event are already available at www.tapscon.com.
