IEWC Seeking Susan Komen 3-Day Walk ParticipantThe Island Estates Women’s Club is looking for a resident of Island Estates who is walking in the 3-Day Breast Cancer Awareness Walk to participate in her sponsorship. At the annual Membership Meeting to be held on October 21 at Island Way Grill, the theme will be “Pink is Beautiful.” The proceeds from the silent auction fundraising events at that meeting will be donated to the sponsorship of that walker. If you are walking or know of someone from the Island who is walking, contact Beverly Kennedy at (727) 510-3262 and give her your information. All members, guests and prospective new members of the IEWC are encouraged to attend this meeting to show your support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Membership is open to all women residents of Island Estates. Membership fee is $15 per year and monthly meetings are held from September to May.
