IEYC Holds “White Elephant Blind Auction”
Photo by Fay Nicholson CLEARWATER - The IEYC held their annual "White Elephant Blind Auction," led by Bob and Eileen Gunther, on July 19 at the Clearwater Yacht Club. Two of the most unusual gifts that members bid on were, a rack for hanging items made from deer hoofs, and a Honduranian reed woven tapioca squasher. The group was also honored by a visit from Olympic sailor Zach Railey, a CYC member, who will be sailing a Finn representing the USA in Beijing. Fifty members and guests enjoyed dinner and the wild bidding at the CYC.
