Pitch for Pink to Strike Out Breast CancerCLEARWATER - Take me out to the ball game and enjoy more than peanuts and Cracker Jack by participating in the third annual Pitch for Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Night sponsored by Morton Plant Mease Health Care and the Clearwater Threshers baseball team. Threshers players will dazzle fans by sporting pink baseball jerseys and a silent auction will be held to benefit the breast health services and programs of Morton Plant Mease Health Care. Pitch for Pink will be held on Friday, August 8 at Bright House Networks Field, 601 Old Coachman Road in Clearwater. The Threshers – Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies - will take on the Tampa Yankees.
