Clearwater Horseshoe Club to Host Open HouseThe Clearwater Horseshoe Club, located at Ed Wright Park, 1326 South M. L. King Jr. Ave., Clearwater, announces its Open House dates:
Refreshments will be available. It’s free, it’s fun, it’s relaxing and a great way to keep fit. Clearwater Horseshoe Club has 18 beautiful lighted courts, considered to be one of the best facilities in the country. Covered pitching platforms provide shade, and the pit area has Kentucky blue clay for the best playing conditions. It is also the home of the Florida State Horseshoe Pitchers Association Hall of Fame. The club is looking for more horseshow pitchers to join its ranks. Age is no problem! Men, women, senior pitchers and junior pitchers are all welcome, and it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an experienced pitcher! All skill levels are welcome. Club members will provide horseshoe pitching tips and coaching to help you improve your horseshoe pitching skills. There are many different models of horseshoes you can pitch with.
