
Fostering Hope Florida Presents Pirates in the Park - September 20TARPON SPRINGS - Arrr Matey! Ever want to be a pirate Now is your chance! Fostering Hope Florida presents "Pirates in the Park" - A FREE event for all the family - Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine! The book, How I Became a Pirate will be brought to life during this free event held at A.L. Anderson Park, 39699 US Hwy 19 N, in Tarpon Springs. (Shelter 8, at the south end of the park.) Besides story telling, there will be food, drinks, face painting, an artist, fun games and an overall good time! This event is not just for families who have foster children, but everyone who is a child or a child at heart! All donations will benefit children in foster care through Fostering Hope Florida and are greatly appreciated. The mission is to provide healthy, supportive, nurturing, community-supported foster homes complete with client specific services for children who are unable to reside with their own families.
