Ready to deliver the backpacks, school supplies, teddy bears and clothing they had collected for the children living at Religious Community Service's Grace House are (kneeling from left) Brooke Hermann, Nancy Currey, Josh Hermann, Rick Moore, (standing l-r) Joey Moore, Katie Moore, Kali Plock, Sami Howdeshell, Steffi Howdeshell, Barbara Plock and Kathy Howdeshell of the Church of the Good Samaritan in Clearwater. Youth at the church took on the "helping hands" project for Grace House this summer. On August 16, cars were packed with the donations and they were off to the facility which offers shelter for homeless families with children for up to two months, during which time case management is offered to help residents return to self-sufficiency. The group from Church of the Good Samaritan also plans to deliver turkeys to residents of Grace House at Thanksgiving.
