Letter sent to Clearwater Council Members - Lack of support for LiteracyWe are most disappointed that the hours at the Countryside Library have sbeen so severely cut. It is ridiculous to have two days eliminated from the schedule. This is a busy library. Cut the hours on the main branch where there is little traffic. We have been in there several times and feel it is a pretty building with few patrons. Library hours should never be cut. Literacy is always to be encouraged. What other low price options do people have for books, DVDs, computer use, and other benefits? You have made a poor decision and it should be reversed.
