Clearwater Firefighters Remember September 11th at All Fire Stations

In remembrance of the September 11th terrorist attacks Clearwater Fire & Rescue will pause for  a moment of silence.  The department will honor the 343 FDNY firefighters, as well as multiple public safety employees and civilians who lost their lives seven years ago.

At 9:50 a.m.: Firefighters will bring the apparatus out of the stations with lights activated.

At 9:58 a.m.: Firefighters will stand at attention.

At 9:59 a.m.: Dispatch will announce the moment of silence over the radio as firefighters observe the moment of silence.

        All city flags will be flown at half-staff to remember those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.
