September Orchid Society Meeting SetLARGO - The Florida West Coast Orchid Society will hold its monthly meeting September 11th, 7:30 p.m., at the Pinellas County Cooperative Extension (Botanical Gardens), 12175 125th St. N., Largo. An educational class will be held at 7 p.m., a short meeting at 7:30 p.m. followed by the featured speaker Dr. Martin Motes, renowned author and noted expert on the Vanda orchid. Plants from Dr. Motes’ greenhouses will be available for purchase. A bloom table followed by a raffle of 12 orchids donated by Dr. Motes will conclude the meeting.
