Palm Harbor Library is Going to the Dogs!PALM HARBOR – Representatives from Pinellas County Animal Services will be visiting the Palm Harbor Library, 2330 Nebraska Ave., Palm Harbor, on Saturday, October 4, at 1 p.m. to conduct an outdoor children’s program on “Being Kind to Animals.” The shelter will be bringing different animals and offering instruction on the proper care of pets. As a tie-in with this year’s Read Around Pinellas selection, The Call of the Wild, there will be a special focus on dogs. Children will be able to tour the Animal Services Animobile, a mobile surgical van that travels to underserved communities to provide free or low-cost animal services. The program will also address safety issues regarding wild animals in our community.
