Clearwater Civitan Club to Sponsor District Team at Golf TournamentAs well as being a prime sponsor of the upcoming Otis C. Green Charity Golf Tournament, October 1, at the Belleview Biltmore Country Club, the Clearwater Civitan Club will sponsor a Florida Civitan District Team in the event. After last week’s successful Garage Sale raised over $500 for the Homeless Emergency Project’s Children’s Christmas Party, outgoing Clearwater Civitan president, Frank Kelly, announced the names of the members of the team: Steven Steenberge of the Seminole Civitan Club, a Largo resident; Robert Kricher of the Neapolitan Civitan Club, a Naples resident; Doug Kirk of the Tampa Metro Civitan Club, a Dade City resident; and John Walton of the Clearwater Civitan Club, a Clearwater resident; will make up the team.
