Remembering the Loss of a ChildMorton Plant Mease Hosts “Walk to Remember”Morton Plant Mease Health Care invites members of the community to participate in the 16th annual Walk to Remember. A poignant moment of remembrance, the one mile walk at Sand Key Park on Saturday, October 11th at 9 a.m., Sand Key Park, (park shelter #1), 1060 Gulf Blvd., in Clearwater, provides awareness about pregnancy loss, stillbirth or newborn death and support for grieving parents. October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Walk to Remember symbolically joins together people at walks all across America to raise awareness about perinatal grief and ensure that sensitive care is given to parents who experience the death of a baby. In addition to the walk, a Candlelight Remembrance Service will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd. in Clearwater. Walk to Remember and the Candlelight Remembrance Service are free to the community.
