
Halloween HappeningDUNEDIN - The City of Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department prides itself in offering a “spooktacular” safe and fun-filled Halloween event for the entire family. This “haunting” evening will take place on Saturday, October 25th from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. in Highlander Park which is located off Michigan Boulevard near the Highlander Pool. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the “Dunedin for Youth Fund”. A number of exciting activities will be offered including playing carnival games, walking through a haunted house, experiencing a haunted hayride, pumpkin carving, and a costume contest for all ages. Younger children will enjoy trick or treating through “Boo in the Zoo,” a non-scary, fun village. Children will also be able bounce around in a moonwalk, take a train ride and ride on a pony. There will be a lively DJ and a variety of concession foods and snacks available as well.
