Fred McCool Day at the Humane Society of Pinellas

CLEARWATER – The Humane Society of Pinellas cordially invites you to attend the Open House Celebration of Fred McCool Day. In recognition of 20 years of service, Fred McCool has served both as HSP’s Ambulance Service Driver and Humane Officer. The dedicated service that Fred McCool has provided over the past 20 years has been a great benefit to Pinellas County’s animals, citizens, law enforcement and public safety employees.

The community is invited to this open house appreciation for Fred McCool on October 30th, 2008 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Humane Society of Pinellas, 3040 State Road 590 in Clearwater. Fred has overcome the difficult aspects of animal protection and rescue work which has an extremely high rate of Compassion Fatigue. He has always been professional, trustworthy, kind, loyal and dependable in an industry that can wear one down over the years, but not Fred, as he has reached a mile marker that most who work in animal welfare do not reach!

The long-term employment of Fred McCool at HSP, serving Pinellas County, brings us to Fred McCool Day at the Humane Society of Pinellas. Stop in to shake his hand and congratulate this dedicated and talented gentleman and share with HSP your animal story and experiences with Fred. He has brought tears and smiles of joy to some and shared tears of sadness with others. He is truly a remarkable man, and we are so proud that he chose HSP as his career for 20 years of helping Pinellas County citizens and animals.
