Halloween Spooktacular 2008LARGO - The city of Largo invites the community to its annual Halloween Spooktacular. Events include a trick or treat path, inflatables, rock climbing walls, super slides, games, music and more. Great food and fun for the whole family! New this year is the Pumpkin Picasso, a family pumpkin decorating contest. Drop off your completed pumpkin at the stage between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to be entered to win. All ages are welcome to attend on October 25th from 4-10 p.m. FREE, Trick or Treating. Wristbands: Required for all other activities. The cost of a wristband is $5 with recreation card, $6 without a recreation card at any facility by October 24 and all wristbands will be $7 each or family 4 pack for $25 the day of and at the event. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site with delicious treats! Pets, personal coolers and alcohol are NOT permitted inside the event. Largo Central Park is located at 101 Central Park Drive. Event shuttles will pick up participants from Pinellas County School Board and Largo High School. Additional overflow parking will be available at Largo Central Elementary and Largo Middle School. Limited paid on-site and handicap parking will be available.
