Clubs Show 4-H PridePhotos/text by SANDI FAHY
Lisa McBride, leader of 4-H club 4-H20, at back, right, is pictured with several members of 4-H20 at the recent 4-H Open House at the Pinellas Extension Service. The youngsters were there to talk about their embryology project, which began with the construction of the above pictured cage at last year's open house. Their study of the formation and development of embryos led to the hatching and raising of the four healthy chickens caught on camera with them. Each of the chickens produces an egg a day, McBride advised.
Meet members of the Crazy 4 Canines 4-H Club, which brings together youngsters who have, or are interested in, dogs. The club, which has some 25 members, was named Pinellas 4-H Club of the Year for 2006-2007.
