Good Fellowship at CBA Picnic
Ray Massieu (left) and Dave Ramos act as chefs at the annual Clearwater Beach Association membership picnic, as Ross Concklin "supervises." Members of the Clearwater Beach Association admired the newly relandscaped Triangle Park on Narcissus Avenue, recently, as they gathered there for the annual Membership Picnic. The landscaping was paid for by the CBA and put in place with cooperation of the City of Clearwater. With a menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages with salads and sweets brought by the members, the assemblage was well fed. Young people enjoyed balloon volleyball over a net set up for the purpose. Others tried their skill at crochet. Conversation included congratulations for the two awards of distinction the CBA has received in the City's CAN competition and plans for the annual Community Christmas Caroling event put on by the Beach Association and the Christmas party in December. Several new members took this opportunity to join the CBA and become a part of the ongoing effort to see that the Clearwater Beach Community remains a delightful place to live and visit.
