Clearwater Main Library Winter 2008 - 2009 Art ExhibitsCLEARWATER – Winter art exhibits will be on display Dec. 1 – Feb. 28, throughout the Clearwater Main Library’s galleries, 100 N. Osceola Ave.: Daily Drawings, drawings and sketches by artist Douglas Land will be exhibited in the Carnegie Gallery. Land is a professional artist and teacher. Acrylic Paintings by artist Barbara Kampe Hanson will be on display in the Osceola Gallery. Nagano and Clearwater: Sister Cities will be on display on the 4th Floor in the Special Collections area. The City of Clearwater and Nagano, Japan are celebrating 50 years of being Sister Cities. Beginning Jan. 10, gifts that Clearwater has received from Nagano over the past 50 years will be on display.
