
Dunedin’s Holiday Boat Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony SlatedThe public is invited Saturday night, December 6th for the City of Dunedin’s Annual Holiday Boat Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony to be held at Edgewater Park/Marina from 6 to 8 p.m. Beautifully decorated boats will leave Marker 1 Marina at 6 p.m., proceed south through the Intracoastal waterway to I.C.W. Marker #1 (Union Street), turn around and head back north to arrive at Dunedin Marina at approximately 7:30 p.m. Spectators may view the Boat Parade from vantage points along Bayshore Boulevard (Alt. 19) and Edgewater Drive. Festivities at Edgewater Park will begin at 6 p.m. with the Dunedin Concert Band and holiday music to put you in the festive spirit! “Make-a-s’more,” hot dogs and drinks will be available at the “Dollar Café.” Santa will arrive on the last boat and preside over the Tree Lighting Ceremony with city officials to conclude the evening.
