Island Estates Woman’s Club Holds Luncheon Meeting
The Island Estates Woman’s Club gave thanks and featured a “Pantry Raid” at its November meeting held at the Clearwater Country Club. Collecting the can goods for RCS were Erma Ferguson and Barbara Blakely pictured above (l-r). Laura Scott, from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department, was the guest speaker. She spoke about the special needs of families which the Club will sponsor at its Christmas meeting to be held December 9th at the Carlouel Yacht Club. Members are asked to bring cash donations for this project and proceeds will benefit both the Sheriff’s Department and the Military families at MacDill AFB. A special treat at the December meeting will be Barbie Dodaro’s Noel Boutique with unique and beautiful Christmas items for sale.
