IRB Lighted Boat Parade is Looking for ParticipantsThank you to everyone that submitted a donation towards the 22nd Annual City of Indian Rocks Beach Holiday Lighted Boat Parade!. Enough donations were received to continue the tradition of this great event. It will be just as good, if not better than it was last year. Now participants are needed for the Boat Parade. It will be held on December 20th. If you have never participated in the parade, it is a very fun evening. All boats, large and small, are encouraged to participate! This year, as it was last year, there will be over $2500 in prize money! Plus, every boat will receive a goody bag with gifts and gifts certificates donated by local merchants! A free Captain's meeting with hors d'oeuvres is set for the week before the parade. After the parade, Jimmy Guana's, at the Holiday Inn Harbourside, has offered to sponsor the awards ceremony and party. There will be a cash bar. This is a judged event with three categories: 23 feet and under,24-30 feet, and 31 feet and over.
