Local Order Sons of Italy Chapter Thanks Public for Charitable Donations

CLEARWATER - The Daughters of Italy Lodge #2825 want to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation for the generosity of everyone who came to have their gifts wrapped for charity at Books-a-Million Bookstore (33550 US 19 N., Palm Harbor, on the corner of Nebraska Ave and US 19) from Saturday, December 13 through Wednesday, December 24. As their annual charity event, the members were at the store all day wrapping Christmas gifts and were so pleased to see customers returning each year for this annual event. There was no charge for the giftwrapping but donations were accepted, with proceeds benefiting the organization’s charities – Alzheimer’s, Cancer, and Cooley’s Anemia as well as the Daughters of Italy Lodge #2825 Scholarship Program.

The Daughters of Italy Lodge #2825 is the Clearwater women’s chapter of the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA), the nation’s oldest and largest organization of men and women of Italian heritage.
