Volunteers Needed for Stevenson Creek Cleanup

CLEARWATER – The City of Clearwater will be hosting a water and land cleanup along Stevenson Creek, and volunteers are needed to remove trash, litter, and debris from the creek and adjacent areas. The cleanup will involve reviving the land and water portions of Stevenson Creek. Volunteers are encouraged to bring canoes and kayaks to help with the water portion.

Details are as follows:

Saturday, Jan. 24, 9 a.m. to noon, Stevenson Creek at Edgewater Dr. (1040 Calumet St.) To remove trash, litter, and debris from the creek and uplands adjacent to the water. Wear closed-toed shoes. Trash pickers, trash bags, gloves, and drinking water will be provided. All ages are welcome, and service hours will be validated. To Sign Up: Call Sarah Josuns at (727) 562-4897.
