Downtown Homeless IssueAfter reading the latest Clearwater Gazette, I'd like to personally thank Councilmember Paul Gibson for directly confronting the homeless issue in the downtown area. If the vision of a vibrant downtown is to become reality, the soup kitchen, and as a result the homeless, need to be moved to a more suitable location. Who wants to live, shop or play in an area overwhelmed by homeless people? As it stands now, the only ones that are enjoying all the refurbishments to the downtown area are the homeless.
