Largo Tables Vehicle and Equipment Purchasesby Bill LopezLARGO - Consideration of vehicle and equipment purchases that had been placed on the city commission agenda have been tabled for future review. The items include light duty vehicles for various city departments at a cost of $572,766, Crown Victorias and Chevy Malibus for the Sheriff Department for $444,022, fifteen mobile computers and fifteen digital video cameras for $183,556 and one computer server for $24,591. The purchases are all budgeted items but the commission elected to defer purchase to a later date pending further assessments of the budget and the expenditures.
