Spending CutsI hear in the news about cutting education, police protection, fire protection, wages, office of aging, Sailing City program and many other programs and services that directly help or contribute to the good of our society. We point fingers at the auto industry and their benefits. We talk about doctors’ pay and hospital costs. When will the news media and papers point out to everyone that the lawyers and judges are not on any list to be cut. At hundreds of dollars an hour I'm sure they are responsible for a very high percentage of our taxes. They are the cause for high doctors bills (law suits), hospital costs, insurance premiums and the list goes on and on. Everyone has been singled out except for this group that causes many of the high cost and taxes for our society. We have the best legal system in the world at the highest cost in the world with little justice for the common person. - Phil Dubeil
