
Moccasin Lake Nature Park’s Fireside Concert Series SlatedCLEARWATER – Fireside Concert Series will be held Saturday, March 14th, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, 2750 Park Trail Lane in Clearwater (Just N.E. of the corner of US 19 and Drew Street- enter from Drew). This event is drug and alcohol free, suitable for family outings. The Native American Fireside Concert will feature the Red Hands Drum. Listen to and participate in an evening of Native American music and drumming presented by Red Eagle and Friends, local Native American performers and artists. In addition, representatives of several local tribes will also share indigenous folklore through story telling, dancing and more. Native American artwork and instruments will be on sale during the intermission. Everyone is invited to bring along a drum or percussion instrument to play along during parts of the performance. During intermission enjoy beverages, toast marshmallows and make delicious s’mores around the campfire. All the fixings will be provided. The concert is held indoors during inclement weather. Admission is: 13 years and up - $3, 3 to 12 years - $2, and 2 years and under - $1.
