New Puppy in the House? 

If you have a new or out of control puppy or adult dog, sign up now for a dog training class at the Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road. Puppy Manners is open to all pups aged 10 weeks to 16 weeks of age and includes instruction on basic manners as well as important socialization activities. The next six-week session begins on Wednesday, April 1st, at 7 p.m.

Adult Doggie Manners classes are available for dogs 4 months or older and provide instruction on basic pet manners, including sit, down, come, walking politely on leash and more. The next six-week class session begins on Monday, April 6th, at 6:45 p.m. Canine Good Citizens class is also offered on Mondays at 8 p.m. for people whose pet has had previous training. All ten of the required AKC Canine Good Citizen’s Test exercises will be covered..

All classes are taught by a Certified Pet Dog Trainer utilizing modern, positive techniques. Cost is $65 for Dunedin residents; $97 for non-residents.  A 10% discount is offered for dogs adopted from local animal shelters – proof of adoption must be presented at registration.
