
Home Tour Explores IRB’s Historic TreasuresThis year’s Homes Tour of Historic Indian Rocks Beach, held Saturday, March 28 from 11-4, features an eclectic mix of styles and eras, celebrating IRB’s rich, diverse architectural heritage. Homes include “Old Florida” cottages and ’50s boom bungalows, an original stone house and a couple of stunning makeovers… 11 places to visit in all. The tour is sponsored by the Indian Rocks Historical Society and the City of Indian Rocks Beach. According to tour committee chairperson Donna Valery, the event’s goal is to provide historical awareness of the city’s treasure of historic structures, while giving participants a memorable and informative one-of-a-kind experience. Tour guests are also invited to a complimentary wine tasting of Florida citrus wines following their tour at Impressive Designs gallery, located just south of the museum. Advance purchase of the home tour is available for $15; tour day price is $20. Further discounts are available for museum members.
