Born and raised in Peru, Hunter moved to Atlanta with her family when she was 18-years- old, where she attended and graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta. She reveals her heritage through the use of bold colors and unconventional shapes of everyday items. One of her paintings was selected for the 2009 Hispanic Heritage calendar. An exhibit of her art is currently on display at the library until April 30. For more information, call 784-3332, ext. 3021.
