6th Annual Charity Softball Challenge SlatedThe 6th Annual Charity Softball Challenge (Clearwater Police vs. Largo Police) will be played at Bright House Networks Field (NW corner of US 19 & Drew Street), Friday, April 17th - Softball Game at 4:30 p.m., Threshers Game at 7 p.m. There will be a special appearance by former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Mike Alstott. Ticket prices are just $16 and includes all you can eat and drink from 6 to 9 p.m. hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, peanuts, popcorn, chips, ice cream sandwiches, soft drinks and bottled water, plus ...16 oz. draft beer for just $2 for three hours. Kids tickets available (Children 4 and under are free.) There will be games for the kids and silent auction. For tickets / donations contact Lt. Ed Sohoski at 586-7433. Five dollars ($5) of every ticket goes to a police charity. This year, the recipient is the family of Largo Police Lieutenant Mike Renault who recently lost his battle with stomach cancer at age 37.
