
Belleair Rotary Extends Invite to Wine and Tapas Extravaganza
Photo by SANDI FAHY CLEARWATER - The Clearwater Community Sailing Center at 1001 Gulf Blvd. on Sand Key will be the setting for the upcoming Wine and Tapas Extravaganza hosted by the Belleair Rotary Club. The April 23 fundraiser will get under way at 6 p.m. with a silent auction. A baby grand piano, crystal chandelier and artwork are among the items up for bid. There will also be an opportunity drawing and musical entertainment. Those attending will enjoy wines from various renowned wine distributors and feast on tapas provided by Belleair Country Club, Bonefish Grill, Cody's Original Roadhouse, E & E Stakeout Grill, Grillmarks of Largo, O'Keefe's, Rusty's, Surf & Turf Market, Thai Coconut Restaurant, Walt's Seasonal Cuisine and Watercolour Steakhouse and Grille. Proceeds from the event will benefit local and international programs and organizations supported by the club. Belleair Elementary, UPARC, Habitat for Humanity, Doorways Scholarship Program, Rotary Foundation, Relay for Life, Salvation Army, Youth Leadership Conference of the Military Order of the World Wars, La Comunidad de Ninos Orphanage in Mexico, La Clinica Guadalupana and the Casa de Hogar Orphanage in Lima, Peru, are among the recipients of the club's charitable endeavors.
