FL 50s Original Rockers Sock-hop SetCalling all hep "Cats 'n Kittens" to the FL 50's Original Rockers 10th Annual "Spring Fling Sock-Hop", Saturday, April 18th , at the American Legion Post #7, 1760 Turner St. Clearwater, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The Original Rockers DJ's, "Stormin-Normin and Bobbiesox", will play music for fabulous line dances of the rock-n-roll era, such as the "Stroll, Hully-gully, and Cha-cha" with the Original Rockers dance team and members. Requests of all the oldies music, including slow dancing as well, trivia contests, prizes and door prizes will give added fun to the evening. Snacks and popcorn will be on each table. The beverages will be on hand at the open bar, as no coolers are allowed. The Original Rockers Dance Club, a non-profit organization, participates in community functions, throughout the Tampa Bay area. Proceeds from this sock-hop will be donated to various non-profit charities in this area. Tickets are $7 per person, children under 12 are free, call (727)786-6828 or (813)837-3335.
