Bluffs Appoints Members to Vacant Board SeatsBy Leo Coughlin BELLEAIR BLUFFS – The City Commission continued at its meeting Monday night filling key positions on city boards and heard a presentation from a representative of the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority. Will Miller, as expected, was appointed to the Planning Board. Randy Greenbaum was named to the Board of Adjustment, Tom Morrissette, who is head of the Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce, to the Charter and Ordinance Review Committee, and Wanda Rusinowski as an alternate member of the Planning Board. Commissioners did not hear much new from the transportation briefing with plans in the future for rapid transit. That may be a ways off given the current economic circumstances.
