Local Horseshoe Pitcher Regains TitleRon Deckard of the Clearwater Horseshoe Club regained the Men’s State Title in Beverly Hills, FL. This makes his 10th victory as Men’s State Champion. On Friday he had a 5-1 record to advance to Saturday, where he went 6-0 to regain the Champion ship. Ron also competed in the Men’s Senior World Championship, and winning back to back titles for 2007-2008.beating out 73 other pitchers. Ron will be competing again in July for the World Title again being held in Springfield, IL.
