Greater Belleair Young Women’s Society Holds Kentucky Derby PartyThis year's "Run for the Roses was an event like never before when co-chairs Nettie Thomson and Kelly McFrederick of the Greater Belleair Young Women's Society held their annual Kentucky Derby Party at Kelly's home in Largo. Over 80 members and guests attended this gala affair, all in dress ready to watch the most exciting two minutes in sports history. The karaoke was busy while everyone danced the night away under the stars after eating a most delicious whole roasted pig and all the side dishes. Standing from left to right for the best hat contest is Deborah Vaters, Barbara Busch, Jeanette Lawrenson and Carolyn Bookout. There was also a fundraiser silent auction and raffle for the Sally House children's home.
