Clearwater Yacht Club Hosts UPARC Fund Day
Clearwater Yacht Club (CYC) entertained over 300 UPARC (Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens) clients, staff members and care givers at the 16th Annual UPARC Fun Day. It was a day of festivity, including a cook-out, singing, dancing and boating on the Sea Screamer.
CYC’s Rear Commodore, Brenda Hanson, presented a check in the amount of $8,000 to UPARC Residential Director, Anita Dooley, on behalf of CYC membership.
UPARC is a non-profit community organization which provides the highest quality services to people with developmental disabilities. It is a leader in providing innovative rehabilitative and residential services to more than 500 clients.
